Promotion and Reorganisation

PurpleTrain would like to announce the following staff promotions which takes place with immediate effect.

1) Hilary Pereira

Hilary joined us on 24 August 1998 and has been with us for about 2 years as a Senior Systems Engineer. He is promoted to the post of Assistant Manager - Systems and will be leading the technical team to look into all aspects and issues concerning the technical systems utilised by PurpleTrain.Com.

2) Mike Khoo

Mike joined us on 26 November 1998 and has been with us for about 1.5 years as a web programmer. He is promoted to the post of Assistant Manager- Projects. He will be assisted by the web design team. Mike will take over the web development and research and design into new areas of expansion for PurpleTrain.Com.

Both Hilary and Mike have shown great commitment in fulfilling their responsibilities and they have proven their ability to perform in their job areas. They have also shown the willingness to take on new tasks, with positive attitudes. We are certain that with their commitment, PurpleTrain will continue to be a vital contributor to the Informatics Group.

Please join us in congratulating Hilary and Mike on their new and challenging positions.

Together with the promotions, we are pleased to announce the reorganisation of PurpleTrain.com, with the two Assistant Managers abovementioned overseeing both the Technical as well as Research and Design areas.
