PurpleTrain.com Roadshows - A Huge Success!

PurpleTrain.com has embarked on a series of roadshows targeted at Informatics Group's internal staff, trainers and lecturers. These roadshows were conducted with the purpose of educating the ASCs on PurpleTrain, and to update them on the latest developments and services available on the e-learning portal. Very importantly, the roadshows also provides a platform whereby the course consultants can have their doubts and queries answered by the PurpleTrain team.

Spearheaded by Dr Wong, CEO and Chairman of PurpleTrain.com and the Informatics Group, the last two weeks saw the first two roadshows held at Dhoby Ghaut and Plaza by the Park. It was received with overwhelming response, as the turnout was 55 persons at Dhoby Ghaut and another 95 persons at the Plaza by the Park roadshow.

The program line-up covered a range of topics, with Dr Wong kicking off the whole session with an opening speech and an impactful presentation on why e-learning will take the world by storm. May Soh, Executive Director of SDO also delivered a speech on the directions and role of the centres in promoting PurpleTrain. A speech was then made by Wan Ling, Sales Manager of PurpleTrain on how course consultants can better handle their customers and counter argue them. Following that, Jolyn Chua, Marketing and PR Manager of PurpleTrain, presented some of the intensive development work that goes on at PurpleTrain to make e-learning a breeze for students. Mike Khoo, Assistant Manager (Projects) of PurpleTrain took everyone on a quick tour of some of the key facilities and tools available on PurpleTrain.

The key highlight of the two roadshows was the Q&A session, which saw very lively exchanges and interaction between the audience and the PurpleTrain team. All issues that were brought up at the roadshows were all attended and responded to very positively. Many of the facilitators also provided us with very valuable positive feedback on their experiences and beliefs in e-learning. The 2-hour sessions were most fruitful and informative for everyone.

The PurpleTrain roadshows will be roaming from one centre to another. Starting from Singapore, it will also be replicated in Malaysia and Hong Kong shortly by the respective country representatives. These roadshows will also help keep all consultants informed about the latest updates in PurpleTrain.com. There is currently a PurpleTrain booth display with demo computers situated at the Dhoby Ghaut centre. This would help create a greater awareness of PurpleTrain among the students.

For those of you who have already participated in the first two roadshows, we are thankful for your participation and contributions at the roadshows. As for those of you who have yet to attend the roadshow, do look out for it. And because it is a platform to answer all your queries and doubts, do jot down those issues and speak to the PurpleTrain team at any of the roadshows. Or you can email jolyn@purpletrain.com.

Let us all work together to drive PurpleTrain to an even higher level!
