Newly Appointed Executive Director Brings PurpleTrain.com to Greater Heights
Dr Wong Tai, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PurpleTrain.com is pleased
to announce the appointment of Ms Sophy Malik as the Executive Director of
PurpleTrain.com, a leading e-learning service provider which offers a one-stop
service for business and IT education programmes, corporate training courses and
education-related services.
In this newly created position Sophy and her team will focus on setting
stretched goals to exploit every market opportunity to provide desirable return,
whilst ensuring that PurpleTrain.com continues to meet and exceed customers'
expectation.

Sophy joins PurpleTrain.com from Hewlett-Packard where she developed a
successful career in Marketing and Business Development in HP Education South
East Asia for two years.
Sophy is no stranger to Informatics. She has been with Informatics for more
than seven years. Prior to HP, Sophy served as a lecturer in Informatics
teaching Computer Science from Diploma to Advanced Diploma, up to Degree level.
After which she continued her career in Business Development with Informatics
Computer School before she joined International Business Unit - Corporate
Headquarter, where she headed the Business & Programme Development team for CAL,
ITT, ITE, BTE and University programmes. In addition, she also developed
programmes for PurpleTrain.com (formerly known as Internet Virtual Learning
University - IVLU).
Riding on the boom in the Net, the market for e-learning and IT training is
taking off with cyberspeed. It is not just the market that is growing - the
