For those with degrees in non-technical or business fields who want to join the computer information systems work force or wish to augment their current degree (or career) with computer and information system skills, you can opt for a Diploma in Computer Information Systems: Analysis & Design. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, three of the fastest growing IT professions in the next five years will be database administrators, computer specialists, and system analysts. If you are seeking a successful career in any of these fields, this challenging diploma program is for you.
University of California Berkeley Extension (UCBE), located at ground zero of the global Internet revolution in Southern California, is the continuing education branch of the University of California, Berkeley (UCB). Founded in 1891, Berkeley Extension is one of the largest and most highly regarded continuing education programs in the country.

- Total Convenient & Flexibility: Students do not have to travel to class (in this case, to California) but are still able to attend classes fully online conducted by highly qualified instructors approved by the UC Berkeley Academic Senate from the university;

Students can earn a Diploma in E-Commerce Business & Technology upon successful completion of six required courses (12 semester units) and any two electives. All coursework must be completed within two years with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 and no grade lower than a C.
A Diploma in Computer Information Systems: Analysis & Design can be earned by satisfactory completion of six required courses (12 semester units). All coursework must be completed within four years with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and no individual course grade lower than a C.
Students applying for acceptance to the diploma programs should possess the following:
- Completed undergraduate studies or age 24 or older with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience;
- Have a TOEFL score of 525 or higher or have graduated from a college or University wherein the primary language of instruction was English.
