Subject: LETTER OF APPRECIATION
- I wish to express my deepest gratitude to PurpleTrain.com and the University of Portsmouth for your excellent academic teachings and support. In these two years of studies, I have learnt much about the Science of Computing and have greatly matured in the approach of building systems and management. Though there is still a vast amount of knowledge to be learnt and experience to be gained, I have acquired the vital elementary skills to proceed further in my path of higher learning.
- I have considered myself to be fortunate, as having good facilitators help very much in the whole learning process. Ms Preethi Kesavan had presented herself very well as a IT355 (Object-Oriented Programming and Design) facilitator and my PJ330 (Project) supervisor. I will not be able to forget the patience, encouragement, sincerity, and invaluable guidance that she had given me. Special appreciation to Mr Lakshman Shimoga who had also shown unparalleled qualities as a IT350 (Distributed Networks) facilitator. Although good facilitation does not mathematically ensure good grades, their presence definitely boosts up the good learning spirit and morale of students.
- In addition, I must admit in these years of studies, I had encountered certain difficulties, especially in administrative procedures, which had an impact on my entire course. Fortunately, the Informatics/PurpleTrain team was always there when I needed them the most. Hence, this may be the only way that I can give the following persons a big ‘Thank you’.

- I have just received my UOP degree certificate yesterday and the time is presently ripe again for me to take my education planning and efforts a step further.
