History
Named after former Australian Prime Minister John Curtin (1941-1945), Curtin aspires to be a world-class university of technology. Curtin University of Technology is the largest university in Western Australia. Its main campus is situated in Bentley, six kilometres south of the center of Perth, Western Australia's capital.

About the Programme
This program provides school leavers with a solid foundation in business administration and is well suited to those seeking to attain professional expertise in the general management area.
The program focuses on preparing managers for their challenging roles in a global environment, specifically preparing people for management roles in public or private sector organisations. Besides exposing students to various core disciplines in business, it offers them special opportunities such as industry / organisation-based project work, the opportunity to apply these concepts to their own work environment, international study (students are able to gain an exposure and understanding of work in a different context) and the choice of specialising in a particular area such as management, small business and entrepreneurship, human resource and international management.
Those wishing to further their academic career may proceed to a specialist postgraduate program. (For example marketing, educational administration, human resource management, international and/or public sector management)

Bachelor of Business Administration issued by Curtin University

Course Description
Duration
Thames DBA Minimum duration is 06 months & Maximum duration is 1 year.
Thames HDBA Minimum duration is 12 months & Maximum duration is 3 year.
Thames ADBA Minimum duration is 12 months & Maximum duration is 3 years.
Curtin BBA Yr 3 Minimum duration is 15 months & Maximum duration is 5 years
6 weeks per module.
Assessment
Year 3 Subjects Grading
Examination subjects would be graded accordingly based on performance as per Curtin's regulation.

Reunit Conditions
Students are terminated from the program at the discretion of the head of school at Board of Examiners. If a student has failed a unit twice, it will be up to the Head of school as to whether or not the student remains in the program. This is done on a case by case basis.
Advancement
Students are given the opportunity to pursue a Masters program from a range of programs available through PurpleTrain and the Informatics network.
Pathways for Curtin BBA

Suitably qualified students can enrol by direct entry into Thames Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) for progression into the next level. Upon successful completion, they will progress to Thames Higher Diploma in Business Administration (HDBA). Again, upon successful completion of this course, they can proceed to Thames Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (ADBA) and on to the Curtin BBA programme.
Suitably qualified students can also pursue the programme by entry into the different levels shown on the accompanying chart.
