Summary of Tools
Course Contents: This module presents the instructional design and structure for the course as created by an instructor. From here students are presented with learning objectives and applicable deadlines as they navigate to course materials and exercises, take tests and quizzes, and participate in surveys. The Schedule may be designed for a self-paced course or structured around specific time frames (e.g. containing modules to be completed each week).
Online Chat: This is an online interactive environment where the students can chat and discuss problems and other aspects in the logged chat rooms. Course Facilitators can arrange times to interact with the students to discuss.
Chat Logs: View contents of the class Chat Log.
Discussion Room: This is an interactive environment in which students have discussion and post messages among themselves and with the instructor as well as collaborate on team tasks and assignments. The Discussion Room provides for public discussions with the entire class or within a specific group.
Profiles: This displays information about the Class facilitators and also student information. You can also send private messages to your facilitators & classmates. Simply click on the "Send Private Message" link, compose your message and post it. You may check your messages when you enter the discussion room. Private messages received could be from any facilitator of any module or batch as it serves as a private mail facility.
Drop Box: Student facility to submit their assignment.
Confirmation: Student can view their assignments submitted.
Must know: Latest Information postings and updates.
