| Six-Month Degree Completion From An Internationally Recognised University |
| Students with the required pre-requisites will now be able to complete their Computing degree from the University of Portsmouth in at least 6 months. |
Informatics, a provider of quality lifelong learning services, now offers students a 6-month internationally recognised degree completion pathway.
Students who sign up for this 6-month Ordinary Degree completion programme must have the required pre-requisites such as an Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant discipline, and related work experience.
The 6-month Degree programme offered is the Bachelor of Science in Computing from the University of Portsmouth. This 6-month Ordinary Degree programme is specially designed for students in the Computer Science and related disciplines, with relevant working experience in an information technology or computing environment. The students will be granted exemptions for the first two years of the degree programme, based on previous qualifications and work experience, and will be offered a place in the final year, where there are three core modules which can be completed in 6 months.

Many IT and computing professionals in the market have good knowledge and skills in their specialised fields, but they lack the academic qualifications to formalise their expertise. This Bachelor of Science Degree could well be the stepping stone to their career advancement."

The 6-month Bachelor of Science in Computing programme takes a minimum of 6 months to complete and involves coursework and written examination components. Students may continue to pursue a Master's Degree from the University of Portsmouth after the completion of the 6-month Ordinary Degree programme, if they have a minimum of 5 years of working experience. Students with less than 5 years of working experience can pursue an Honours degree by completing an additional three modules in a minimum of 6 months.
