We get mail everyday. What are the chances that one of the letters we receive, amongst all the bills and junk mails, bears fantastic news? Or a pleasant surprise for that matter.
On yet other ordinary day, Hidy Chan opened her letter box to receive an exceptionally good piece of news - she had received First Class Honours for her studies in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing from the University of Portsmouth.
"I just couldn't believe it when I saw that piece of paper saying 'First Class Honours'!" beamed Hidy. And she sure has reason for that wide grin!
Hidy embarked on her e-Learning path with PurpleTrain.com initially with the Advanced Diploma in Computing, upon completion of which she felt the urge to pursue further qualifications. Hidy thanks her mother and sister, May, for their support, without which, she wouldn't have been able to persevere. With her own self-discipline coupled with their encouragement, Hidy's hard work has definitely paid off.
