MS VISUAL BASIC LEVEL 2
Course Objective
This is the continuation
of Visual Basic Windows Programming Level 1, where more in-depth coding
and use of objects are emphasized. Students will also be exposed to the
main possible users of windows interface and design using Visual Basic
Professional Edition.

- Revision on common dialog

- Using Windows standard

a colour, set font properties

- Drag and drop operations
- Stimulation and draw function
- Changing mouse icons
4. Creating the menu bar
- Using the menu bar editor
- Enabling and disabling
items on the Menu bar
- Creating a submenu
- Creating a pop-up menu
5. Multiple document interface
- Creating MDI forms and
child forms
- Loading and MDI child
- Arranging MDI child forms
- Using a non-MDI child
form with an MDI form
6. Saving and retrieving

- Opening, closing, reading
and writing a sequential file
- Opening, closing, reading
a random access file
- Creating user-defined
record types with the type-end type structure
- Writing to random access
file formats
7. Managing Files and Subdirectories
- Using programme code to
rename, delete and copy files
- Setting current directory

- Opening an access database
for reading records
